Dominion Storage System - Base Playing Cards

UPDATE 20250504 - Added files for Intrigue. The box cover is the same, but the names of the card holders are all updated. Included versions with and without brims configured for the card holders.

I wanted a box for Dominion playing cards (other than the Treasure and Victory cards). The Dominion storage system is perfect (and quite clever). However, I could only download the German version of the files. Also, the files I could download included far more components than I wanted to print.

So I remixed this model. I reinforced the inner hinge on the box. The pegs work, but I suspect they won't last long. Therefore, I want to leave open the possibility that I'll drill a small hole into the inner hinge in the future and use an M2 screw.

I also patched the existing German text and added English language text. To see the letters, it would be easiest to print with an MMU3. Note that in the photo, most of the card holders were printed using an older experimental configuration. The file uploaded uses the fonts you see in the Council Room and Smithy holder.

I'm using it as a travel box, so I also needed something to hold the cover closed. Therefore, I chained a few of these together.

Recommendations:

• For the card holders, print the first layer at 25%

• If you have trouble with the fonts smudging, try increasing the first layer bed and head temperature.
