Forest Shuffle Box Insert--Base+2 Sleeved Exp Pks

This Forest Shuffle game box insert allows you to store sleeved cards for the original game (including the reference and cave cards) and two expansion packs (Alpine and Woodland Edge). If other 36 card expansions are released in the future, a combination of two expansion packs should fit fine.

My son-in-law (a master board gamer) and I worked together on this. This is a modified version of this very nice print: https://www.printables.com/model/1199295-forest-shuffle-box-insert . We enlarged the overall insert size to more fully fit the game box, and to provide more depth where the cards go, as the cards spilled over the edges in the original model. We squared off the finger slots and increased the arc radius to make it easier to extract the cards. We also extended the insert bottom to include the ends of the slots (for aesthetic purposes only). We adjusted the dimensions of the pencil slot to accommodate a (pilot G-2) pen while also easing the removal of any writing utensil. (The second profile has a longer slot for other pens or pencils.) Finally, we rotated the score pad slot 90 degrees so it is facing up when the box is opened. (I use “we,” but my S-I-L did a great job on all the design work!)

We used 59x91mm Gamegenic Standard American Matte sleeves, available at https://www.amazon.com/Gamegenic-Sleeves-Standard-American-Bundle/dp/B08CJG1T8T . Other, same-sized sleeves should fit fine, too. You'll need 252 sleeves total, but the 5 pack of 50 sleeves in the link typically includes a few extra sleeves so a single five pack is likely to do the trick.

We printed in Bambu Lab PLA Matte Charcoal with the provided print profile and using the standard Bambu Lab filament settings. No supports are needed, but please be sure you provide good bed adhesion - this print gets close to edges of the 256mm plates, which can sometimes be an adhesion challenge.
