Istanbul BigBox Organizer - Thicker Boards and Sleeved Cards mod

The original design is one of the best thought-out game box organizers I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, due to regional printing differences of the game, I found that some of the pieces of card stock from my USA print of the game would not fit in the originally designed parts. I also sleeve my cards, so I wanted to do something for that as well, enlarging all card openings to allow for sleeves up to 47.5x70.5mm.

With the exception of my modified Letters & Seals components, all other part modifications are drop-in replacements of the originals.

Important: Both the original models and my modifications are made for the same size game box, which has interior dimensions of 290x290mm . If you have a different printing that came with a smaller box, these unfortunately won't fit.

The specific combination of modified pieces needed will depend on whether you need the thicker cardboard support, sleeved cards, or both. Note that while the USA printing of the game actually came with 6 wagon boards, it is still only officially a 5-player game, and it is not possible to fit the 6th wagon tile's components in these holders (I just store my 6th wagon with its wainwright tiles underneath the Places rack in the box).

Here are explanations of each modified piece, and when they are needed:

Purely Optional Piece:

• BG_TrayHolder_2_coffeecover_mod - This piece replaces the original, adding small ledges on the bottom strictly to provide a physical cover for the coffee pieces underneath, in order to prevent the coffee pieces from spilling out if the game box is tipped vertically.

New Letters & Seals Components (all must go together as a set, needed for thicker board support or sleeved cards):

• ls_trayholder_sleevedcards_newtileholders - This is a redesigned block for the L&S expansion, that both enlarges the card holder to fit sleeved cards, and has new cutouts for the redesigned kiosk and letters tiles.

• ls_kiosktiles_taller - Stretches the original kiosk tiles holder taller in order to fit all the tiles in 2 stacks of 12 tiles.

• ls_lettertiles_4stacks - To keep within the height constraints of the main block, after making the kiosk tiles holder taller, this one had to get shorter, so this splits up the letters tiles into 4 stacks of 9 instead of the original 3 stacks of 12.

Drop-in replacement pieces for thicker board pieces only:

• places_enlargedslots - This modifies the Places rack to widen the openings for some of the slots that were much too tight, pushes back the front slot for the wagon boards a little bit to make the front edge of the rack sturdier/less prone to splitting, and adds some small wedges to strengthen the front and back walls. If you only have a 220x220 print bed, I have also included a split version of this with a dovetail to assemble the pieces together.
As noted on the original, it may be wise to print this particular piece with a brim (if using the dovetail split version, only the front piece would need the brim).

• bg_wainwrighttiles_thinbottom - The bottom base of this piece was thinned out to provide just enough extra room to get 5 players' worth of wainwright tiles to fit.

Drop-in replacement pieces for sleeved card support only. These were all made simply by thinning out the walls to enlarge the card openings to 47.5x70.5mm:
