"The Refinery" is a board game insert compatible with the game Pipeline, from Ryan Courtney and Capstone Games. Life's too short to manage an oil empire out of baggies and loose cards in the box! This insert is focused on easing setup, play, and tear down for your gaming session with the following features:

**2021 12 29 - Update for Emerging Markets Expansion**
I've uploaded 4 new files (PL-EM...) to hold the components from the recently released Emerging Markets Expansion. The original Action-CostMarkers tray has been replaced with an Emerging Markets version and the other three trays are new. Packing instructions can be seen in the Tips and Tricks page mentioned below. Basically the three new trays fit in next to / underneath the pipeline tiles bag.

**Features**
- Store and transport the game, on end or flat, with no component migrations
- No lid lift, box keeps its original profile
- Two cash trays to enable banks at each end of the table
- Two trays for barrels and penalty cubes, one for each end of the table. NOTE: a single tray is big enough to hold all barrels and penalty cubes if desired.
- Support for sleeved or non-sleeved cards for both Valuations and Upgrades (Sleeve specifications below). NOTE: The non-sleeved Valuation tile stores with the rest of the Valuation cards.
- Inserts to store the Contracts and Orders, sorted by type
- Pipe tiles are stored in the drawstring bag (KS version) or a large zip lock, in order to speed tear down
- Support for the Emerging Markets expansion

**Optional QuadLock Set** - This is a player aid I developed to help players visually see which Government Quadrants are "open" vs "closed". At the beginning of the game, set the 4 QuadLocks on the Government quadrants, and then remove them as players open each quadrant.

**Sleeve Sizing**
- Valuations - I used Fantasy Flight Greys for sizing the insert.
- Upgrades - Due to the unique size of the Upgrade cards, the wells of the insert were designed for cut down versions of the Mayday Sails of Glory - Orange: Standard (MDG-7126, 100/pack) or Premium (MDG-7135, 50/pack) sleeves. Since the sleeves are so much longer than the actual cards, the sleeves need to be trimmed to approximately 2 3/4" or 70mm
