Steampunk Rubber Duckie: High Society
Elegance meets eccentricity in this high-society duckie, dressed for a gala in the gear-laced halls of Victorian futurism. With a brass-buttoned vest, gear-studded corset, and a top hat that whispers mystery, this duck is ready to waddle into any elite airship soirée.
🧵 Print Notes
• Layer Height: 0.12 mm for crisp gear edges, corset seams, and goggle rims.
• Offset Start: Begin print slightly above the plate to ensure the corset’s bottom edge lays clean — this avoids distortion and preserves the silhouette.
• Supports: Optional — under hat brim and corset flare if needed.
• Infill: 15–20% for balance and weight.
• Material: PLA or silk PLA for shine; AMS users can assign brown, brass, and yellow zones for full steampunk drama.
• Adhesion: Brim recommended when printing offset.
• Speed: 45 mm/s for outer walls to preserve stitch lines and gear contours.
• Cooling: Active, especially around the corset folds and goggle rims.
🛠️ Remix Tips
The vest and corset zones are cleanly separated for easy kitbashing. Add a monocle, cane, or feathered bustle to elevate the aristocratic flair. The flat corset base is remix-friendly for alternate textures or trim.
She is hard to print! It took me about 10 times to get one where the Corset would print correctly. If you find a better profile please add it. I really like how she came out. But it isn't the easist model to print.
