This chart provides a quick overview of commonly used base sizes for tabletop miniatures and helps you choose the correct scale for your prints.
🧩 Common Round Bases:
- 25 mm – small infantry (classic scale)
- 28 mm – standard infantry
- 32 mm – modern hero scale (recommended)
⚔️ Larger Bases (typically used with ~5 mm height):
- 40 mm – elite units / larger characters
- 50–80 mm – monsters & large models
- 90–160 mm – massive creatures & display pieces
🪶 Oval Bases (for mounted units):
- 60 × 35 mm – small mounts
- 75 × 42 mm – medium mounts
- 90 × 52 mm – cavalry / beasts
- 105 × 70 mm – large creatures
- 120 × 92 mm – very large mounts
