A few simple files to organise the Dice Realms box. This retains the three vac-formed trays for the dice faces (and the fourth tray if you have the expansion), and utilises the remaining available space for everything else. It includes a display for the tiles and faces, plus additional trays when using a line that has three faces.

First, a caddy to hold all of the setup 36 tiles, as I don't like them just swilling about in the box. Just dump the contents straight into the bag when beginning the game.

Second, a box to hold all the pieces needed for one player - the two dice, upgrades disc, the VP/misery tokens and the grain. Use the treasury tile as a lid. Print four copies. Each player grabs a tray, empties the tokens and grain into a common supply, and plays. No tedious counting of what is needed!

The player trays print best with supports for the lip that holds the treasury board - however, you might prefer to print the option, which doesn't use the same lip; instead, the treasury board just drops in on top. However, that version might not work as well for people who like to store their games vertically.

Then one large and two smaller sizes of bowl - smallest for the misery chips, medium for the VP chips, largest for grain.

And there is a tray for the dice and a tray for the 10-point endgame chips. The dice tray holds the dice from the base game AND the four orange and one red die from the expansion. Each colour of dice has a separate compartment that helps players spot when they are going to run out. Some people might not like the fact that the dice are quite tight in the tray, though, so I have included an optional more open tray.

Finally I have some trays for the five tiles on display and the relevant faces, and two extension pieces to use when you are playing with lines of three faces.

If you have my original insert, you only need to update your game with the display trays, the dice tray and the setup tile tray - you can reuse the grain/VP/misery chip trays, the 10-point tray and the four player trays - although the files included here are slight improvements on the original files.

insert

The insert has moved on a little from that as pictured. It now accommodates the new expansion, and includes a tray for each of the three main resources; a tray for purchasable dice; a caddy for the tiles and another for the 10-point tokens; a box for each player (speeding setup and teardown, as it holds the right amount of each resource and provides somewhere to put your removed dice faces during the game); and some trays to display the tiles and faces used in a game. Everything sits alongside the three/four included vac-formed trays holding the dice faces. And the good news for anyone who has printed the previous version of this insert - I was able to find space for the expansion while still retaining about half of the original pieces. Printables link
