Star Wars Outer Rim (and Unfinished Business) Board Game Insert

A board game insert to hold all of the components of Star Wars Outer Rim and the Unfinished Business expansion. This insert is design to allow you to pull components right out to the table and start playing quicker.

I was not able to meet the goal of making components that can be pulled out of the box and make room for sleeved cards. Everything barely fits in the box as it is. Sorry about that.

Printing Instructions:

The Standees Top and Bottom will need to be glued together. Printing it as one model would make a lot of supports necessary.

The “Card Dealer” model are designed so you can easily slide a card to the bottom of the deck after a card has been played. But, if you don't print them with the best detail that your printer can handle, the slope will print with terraces that will catch the card if you try to slide it under the bottom of the deck. Even at the finest settings, I found I needed to sand the slope a little bit to make it totally smooth.

Print 4 of the “Card Dealer Triple” model, 2 of the “Card Dealer Double” model and 1 of everything else.

The Contacts and Patrols models are designed with an embossed area that turns out very nice if you paint it white against black filament. I supposed you could use multiple filament colors, but then you would end up with white lines through the piece when looking at it from the side.
