Model Description
This is a custom insert for the game Fliptoons , including the Reset Button expansion, designed from scratch to properly support sleeved cards .
The design was inspired by the insert created by BoardGameMeta . Their insert is simple, easy to print, and very effective , but it does not support sleeved cards. Based on that concept, I redesigned the insert entirely, keeping the same philosophy of simplicity while adapting all dimensions for sleeved cards.
This insert was specifically designed for thin sleeves (≈ 40 microns) .
Components
The insert consists of 3 different parts :
- Setup Deck Box (1×)
Holds:
- Price cards
- Critic selection cards
- First player card
- Expansion rules card
- Main Deck Box (1×)
Holds:
- Toon cards (main deck)
- Player Cards Box (4×)
Holds:
- Starting toon cards
- Player aid
- Expansion reset button
⚠️ The Player Cards Box must be printed 4 times (one per player).
Printing Notes
- No supports required
- Print speed was reduced in the print profile to avoid the need for brim
Compatibility
- Tested with Redbox Crystal and MeepleVirus Perfect Fit sleeves
- Not tested with thicker sleeves
Box Fit
- All components fit inside the original game box
- Lid closes fully , with no lift
