Escape the Dark Castle - Player Board

For reference, here's what I used for my own printing:

• Material: Black PLA ~62g
• Time: ~8h
• Supports: None
• Skirt: None
• Infill: 15%
• Infill Pattern: Gyroid
• First Layer: 0.35mm
• Slicer: Prusa Slicer with default Ender 3 Neo settings save for the above.

Hi! This is my first model designed for 3D printing and I think it turned out decent enough.

I took inspiration from the official art and boards for Escape the Dark Castle , game made by Alex Crispin (Designer and Artist), Thomas Pike (Designer), James Shelton (Designer) and published by Themeborne.

All components can be printed together on a 220mmx220mm bed with no support materials or skirts. Infill can be kept very low (~15%) without the board feeling fragile at all, save for the notches on the left I added to make the cards easier to grab mid-game. Though if you glue the prison door to the frame properly, it will feel much sturdier. I recommend using black or white filament along with white or black paint to at least highlight the numbers. This should help the board feel like it's a proper part of the game with its distinctly monochrome art style.

The only assembly, which is optional, is to glue the door within the frame on the board's left side. Pay attention and make sure item cards can fit in both slots if you do so. Beyond that the tombstone serves as your HP indicator and you might have to trim its bottom layers if they bulged out to make it fit more easily in the board's HP slots. But that's it! This board should also work with the expansions which add character trait/status cards (See the last picture), but I haven't been able to confirm it yet and assumed these were the same size as the item cards.

Those models were designed with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layers in mind, but I doubt it would be impossible to print those with a slightly larger nozzle or thicker layers. It required 62g, or 20.85m of filament to print all components in one go with my printing parameters.
