Model Description

These are replacement ships for the board game Cosmic Encounter. I find the 42nd anniversary translucent ships hard to differentiate in low light, so I made this version with solid colors. You can replace your entire batch cheaply or replace missing ships.

It prints 21 ships (one extra if you lose it) that are split in half like a bagel. So they print effortlessly without any supports. You simply glue the pieces together, and you will have a ship that is completely stackable and same size/shape to the original set. I recommend Aleene's Tacky Glue (used sparingly) to glue ships together.

Note: I also added a 15 ship plate for the A1 Mini.

Note: This is a remix of an excellent model. I modified the dome top to be larger and made the fins longer so that it could support stacking with the original ships without rocking. I also cut the ships in half so they could be printed without supports. But I give entire credit to the original for the beautiful ship design and details.
