Before you print
Covers Escape: Queenie Box

This insert was a very long labor of love, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. If you want to support my work and all of the free designs I donate to the community consider buying something from my Etsy shop or my Printables Store .

------------------------------------------------------

***It has come to my attention that one version of the Escape Base Game box may be too short for this insert. It will still work, but with lid lift. This will definitely fit boxes that are approximately 75mm tall, but a shorter 65mm box will have lift. The best "tlattest" organization is diagrammed in the final picture.***

This insert was designed to be a modular travel case of sorts, though I wouldn't trust the magnets in your suitcase. Everything is in old brick with vines and labels so you know what's in every box. This was designed around the 2nd edition plus the queenie box. To my knowledge the only thing I don't have is the Dice Throne KS queenie. If you are missing some pieces you will have a few holes, but everything is designed around holding all content.

You will need an entire roll of filament and about a million magnets in sizes 6x3 (112) and 6x2 (28), depending on what pieces you print.

Everything is organized according to type. The Quest chambers are all together, the traps, illusions, time chambers. All extra rooms are in a box titled “Chambers”. The base game is in one stack, the curses/treasures in another.

The player box uses the color indicator tokens as faux walls, remove these and you can more easily remove the dice. There are two token boxes to hold all the pieces from the Quests etc. A gem tray that tells you how many gems for your player count.

Each box has 8 magnets (4 corners, top and bottom). The boxes use 6x3 magnets for extra strength. The Lids use 6x2 magnets to make the lids thinner and save space and filament. Save yourself some curse words, bandaids, and wasted filament by printing my Magic Magnet Tool to get the polarity right the first time. Use one for all top pieces and the other for all bottom pieces.

If you don't have a printer you can also purchase this insert from my Etsy Shop .

Also check out the Escape Figurine to replace the Calendar token!

Happy Gaming!

5/20/24 Edit: Added new Extras Box that fits Characters and Curses without magnets. May be advantageous for some especially those with the smaller box. Also uploaded a new Time Chambers box to allow more space for different sized timers.

This is not a new game, but I spent a gazillion hours designing it, so someone please enjoy it. EDIT: fits all published content, not just base game.
