Covers Neuroshima Hex: Wiremen

This is a set of boxes with magnetic lids for the armies in the board game Neuroshima Hex.

It should be fully compatible with Neuroshima Hex 3.0 and the 2020 Morloch Edition. There is a box for the standard armies (plus the special HQ markers that came with the Morloch Edition), a taller box for the base armies that come with the Morloch Edition (and newer armies like Desert Tribes) as they use thicker cardboard, a special box just for the Dancer army, as the 2020 Morloch Edition comes with three thick HQ markers instead of the usual one, and a lot of lids with all of the armies released before January 2025.

Each box will hold all the tiles, plus any tokens and HQ marker(s) that come with the army. They work best when the token section is full, so I typically add some bullet and net tokens to each army's storage box, depending on how much space is available and what they need.

MAKERS: Please post a picture with comments here of any prints/makes you do from this model so that I can see how people are using it and whether you are finding success with it. Thanks!

Updated (2026-03-06) : Added an army lid for the Wiremen and a second generic lid titled OTHER.

Updated (2024-12-19) : Added an army lid for the Desert Tribes and increased the height of the taller box by a few millimeters to better accommodate the new army's thicker cardboard.

The boxes were designed to be used with 3x2mm round magnets.

The easiest way I found to install the magnets was by using a hammer to attach the magnet to, like this:

Then, push the magnet into the hole.

Once you are done with all three, attach one more magnet to each of the magnets that you have already installed, like this:

Once they are in place, you can push the lid into place, and with a little force, the magnets should slide into their holes.

Note: There are multiple holes around the sides of the boxes, so it is possible to add magnets to keep the boxes attached to each other if you want to.

Magnet polarity tools like this one are also very helpful when installing magnets into prints like this one: https://www.printables.com/make/2560431

…Although I could have colored the army names with the printer, I decided to go old school and use a crayon to add some color to the army names on the lids.
