Hoplomachus All-In Insert

This is an insert to combine all of the current content for Chip Theory Games' fantastic tactical skirmish game, Hoplomachus. The components fit into the 2 core boxes and accommodate all the Pandora expansions (Ruin, Wake, and Might), Aprilis Promo, extra dice, hero tracker mats, magnetic tokens, and premium health chips. All trays shown were printed with 0.6mm nozzle at 0.24 layer height, 15% infill, tree supports used only for metal token cartridges.

I've learned a lot about making inserts since my last attempt, which integrated Victorum and Remastered across both core boxes. Given the increased number of components and my desire to incorporate new ideas, I started this insert totally from scratch and with the expansions in mind. Big thanks to js500 for helping prototype some of these trays and for his help while pulling it all together!

The two boxes are split as follows:

Victorum:

• all neoprene game mats

• hero tracker sheets/mats & tracking pegs

• stadium seating (with chips and dice inside)

• stadium extensions, with expansion opportunity chips

• cards (in tuck boxes)

• extra dice set

The large Remastered mats should be rolled together tightly, and if using the included rings these should not cause any lid lift.

• I keep the arena mats in the bottom to match heights for the hero sheets/pads trays

• the Stadium stores dice, opportunity chips, and 6 chips of each faction between games

• cards are kept in tuck boxes received from the Pandora's Ruin expansion, I do not sleeve PVC cards

• the additional trays help store og plastic dice (I keep alloy dice in Stadium Seating), remaining alloy dice, campaign tracker, and beads

• during storage, the Left Stadium extension continues to hold the extra opportunity chips from Pandora's Ruin

• During play with 7 primuses, the additional primus chips can be slotted into the neutral chip area in the banes tray, as those neutral chips will be placed into the enemy bag during setup

Regarding the Bane/Tactics trays and magnetic tokens: the magnetic token cartridges utilize six 60x14x1mm metal bars which I purchased from amazon here: https://tinyurl.com/5frhjnwh

Another user was able to utilize soft magnetic sheets cut down to size as an alternative to the bars, these can be found on Amazon or in a crafting store.

While these magnets certainly are not necessary, they do make for clean and secure storage for the magnetic tokens. The Banes/Tactics tray has slots to accommodate the chips CTG provided with the magnetic tokens. The cartridges shown here are printed with auto tree supports as this leads to really sharp circles, however supports are not necessary for the print to succeed. If supports are used, they do not drastically increase the print time or filament required.

• the “rulebooks” tray is not strictly required, but helps with ensuring vertical storage stability. I use a ca glue + activator spray to adhere the two plates together

• the Scion/Immortal/Titan tray also holds the extra Magnetic Token chips, Support chips, Shard chips, and Neutral Heroes

• I keep the banes and related chips together with their associated Scions or Neutral Heroes

• the Naumachia ships need to be oriented correctly within the tray to prevent them from sticking out beyond the tray's walls
