Darwin's Journey game organizer with all expansions
Please support Clever Owlbear by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
This is an organizer for Darwin's Journey: Collector's Edition, with all available expansions:
•
Fireland expansion
•
Oceania expansion (Founder's Edition)
•
Falmouth Port mini-expansion
•
Animal Companion mini-expansion
•
Darwin Worker mini-expansion
•
Scenarios mini-expansion
•
Pirates mini-expansion
•
Great Ship mini-expansion
•
Komodo Dragon mini-expansion
•
Golden Tent mini-expansion
You will need to print the following files:
•
Beagle and Correspondence tiles
•
Bookmark holder
•
Card tray
•
Coin tray and Pirates expansion
•
Darwin and Tent tray
•
Fireland and Komodo tray
•
Knowledge and research token tray
•
Museum display (x2)
•
Oceania tiles
•
Oceania token tray
•
Player tray (x4)
•
Scoring Objective and other tiles (use the thin walls version if your base game is the reprint)
•
Special Action tiles
•
Specimen token tray
•
Wax seals tray
Note that this uses pretty much every available cubic centimeter in the box, and cannot accommodate sleeved cards, as there is simply not enough space.
To put everything away in the box, follow the tray maps above, then place the two museum displays, the museum overlay board, and the bookmark holder on top of the trays, then the rulebooks, and finally the cloth bags on top.
Edit 1/20/2025: added an alternate version of the wax seals tray, with one small section for the purple seals, and one large section for all the other colors.
Edit 2/3/2025: after some comments, I reworked the specimen token tray, the knowledge and research token tray, and the Scoring Objective and other tiles tray. The specimen token tray now has a higher floor, so the tokens are closer to the top of the holder; the knowledge and research token tray uses a smaller, thumb-holed compartment for the cardboard knowledge tokens, leaving more room for the research tokens in both remaining compartments, and I retooled the Scoring Objective and other tiles tray to make an alternate version with thinner walls, which will hopefully let folks who were having a tight fit before fit all of their tiles in. (It seems that the reprint used thicker cardboard than the original printing, which per piece is negligible, but adds up in storing.)
This is an organizer I designed for the Collector's Edition to hold all of its expansions plus Oceania and all of its mini-expansions in the original box. Available at Printables
