This insert is for the Essentials (retail) version of Excalibur from Roxley Games, and it makes setup and cleanup much faster and easier.
This insert holds all of the chips in the primary sockets, with a dedicated socket for the two starting sword chips (Excalibur and the Cursed Sword) as well as their two reserve replacements and the first player crown.
The Replica blades sit cleanly on top of the chips, helping hold them in place, and the rulebooks all fit on top. There is slight lid lift when everything is in place, but it is barely noticeable (~1 mm).
You can easily remove the insert from the bottom box so you can pull the stacks of chips out of each socket.
Single removable tray to hold the chips and the replica swords, allowing for a much faster time-to-table and cleanup. This is for the essentials version with the cardboard pieces, not the deluxe version with the wooden tokens.
