Update on 2025.8.1:
•
The cover design has been optimized, with a skirt edge that can be clipped between the left and right and inner frames, making the assembly simpler and more secure
Front and back
• Supports each other with PETG and PLA materials, making the support surface smoother and reducing splicing errors and unevenness
• Some models with text sections have been updated to Arachne to generate the wall, improving the detail of the text
The storage details of the Birmingham Luxury Edition are as follows:
• Supports dual-layer player panels, one-click set of individual player panels
• Supports 20 silk card sleeves (each sleeve is approximately 200μm thick)
• Supports storing automaton cards in single-player mode
• Supports storage of 100 standard Birmingham chips (Φ <40mm)
• Supports one-click set for coal and iron markets
Notes:
• Trays marked with × numbers indicate how many times the disk needs to be printed; for example, ×4 means the tray needs 4 prints.
• Do not keep the original chip box, because Birmingham's player panel is very wide. So far, I haven't thought of a better way to make the double-layer panel coexist with the original chip box. I redesigned the resource box, dividing it into two layers: the upper layer for chips, and the lower layer for storing barrels, coal, and iron.
•
The market tray is designed with a recessed section to store extra chips. Because the maximum number of chips a resource box can store is 90, if you purchase a chip booster pack, you can store 10 extra tokens on the market tray. As shown in the picture.
• Card racks can be placed directly on the board to serve as drawing racks, with a slightly upward angle inside the rack to prevent cards from tipping over. Currently, the standard version of the card holder is released. A magnetic version will be released later, allowing the two card racks to connect quickly and more securely through magnets.
•
The double-layer panel is assembled onto the personal player panel using four clips (you can choose between day or night mode), and push it in according to the arrows. After assembly, if you need to disassemble, simply pry out the clip in the opposite direction.
• During testing, I found some discrepancies in the cutting of personal player panels printed at different versions and times. For example, I noticed that my English retail version of the personal player panel was clearly crooked. This design is based on the latest printed Chinese version of Youka Board Game. This caused a slight misalignment when the double-layer panel was installed on my English retail personal player panel, but it wasn't serious and didn't affect gameplay. My design cannot be compatible with all situations; specific situations require testing and adjustment myself.
• Due to printer size limitations, both the double-layer panel and cover plate need to be spliced. The double-layer panels are equipped with dovetail joints, and the tolerances have been adjusted multiple times to ensure that no glue is needed when using official Tuozhu PLA or PETG consumables (please test and adjust non-official consumables yourself). Because the cover plate is not thick enough, it must be reinforced with glue. If you have a printer that supports sizes above 290mm, you can directly print the double-layer panel and cover plate in one piece. I will later release a separate version configuration for integrated printing (since I don't have a printer of this size, please print and test it yourself).
• The cover uses AMS multicolor printing, and I am personally very satisfied with this color scheme. If you don't have AMS, you can slightly reduce the height of the letter model to create a recessed text effect (please adjust it yourself in the slicing software).
•
Birmingham Storage does not support ship or train upgrade model storage. I'll put this part in Lancashire's storage, and I'll release separate accessory upgrade storage boxes later. That way, just one box of upgrade accessories can be used for both Birmingham and Lancashire games at the same time. The general effect of the accessory storage box in Lancashire is shown below.
• The design for Lancashire is basically complete and currently in print testing, expected to be released this week.

•
