About the Game

Alcatraz is a memory and strategy card game where cats try to escape from the infamous canine-controlled prison.

Players manage a personal row of face-down cards, peeking at only a few of them during the game. On their turn, they may draw a card from the deck or discard piles, swap it into their row, or trigger its special ability. With the right combinations, players attempt to fulfill open Objective cards in the center of the table.

Objectives are completed by revealing 2 or 3 adjacent cards from your row whose values add up to the chosen target number. When successful, those cards become your victory points, and the Objective is replaced with a new one. Clever memory, timing, and card effects are key to lining up the perfect sums without revealing too much.

A round ends when a player runs out of cards. After two rounds, the player who has rescued the most cats — by scoring the most cards — is the winner.
