About the Game
It’s a hard life being a crooked politician…
Manipulate the masses to build your wealth with the ultimate aim of taking control of the government.
However there may be traitors amongst you! Unrest is building and anarchists could be plotting to start a revolution, destroying all of your hard earned wealth.
Austerity is a party game pitting you against your friends to accumulate enough wealth to take control of the government, while balancing the scales of societal abuse to the point that the people rebel.
If everyone is too greedy in accumulating wealth, too much unrest will build and an anarchist can overthrow the government. Learn which of your friends are the greediest, which are trying to keep the masses peaceful, and who are secret revolutionaries!
