Age of Steam: Fukuoka is an expansion map for Age of Steam which introduces an area majority mechanic. The board is divided into four areas, and when a player delivers a cube, they take a track ownership disc from that route and move it to one of the special boxes tracking the majorities for any of the regions the route passes through. A neutral player color disc is given ownership of the track and any players may use the track.
There are special actions around reclaiming ownership of track, adding discs to the majority boxes, and swapping discs in the boxes.
