About the Game

GIRI Game is a storytelling card game for children that develops communications skills, imagination and emotional intelligence. GIRI Game helps children improve their attention span. Some kids have shorter attention spans because of too much 'screen time'. Through playing GIRI card game and telling stories with set elements, children improve their focus, learn to express their thoughts and ideas fully, and improvise in the moment.

There are two roles in the game: The Storyteller, team or player who tells the story. The Teaser, team or player that distract the Storyteller by inserting their oen card into the course of the story.

Each Teaser team/Player draws one card from the Teaser Category. The drawn cards are not shown to the Storyteller. Storyteller starts to tell a story, based on cards from categories: Characters, Objects, Theme, Place, Atmosphere.

As the Storyteller tells a story, the Teaser team tries to distract the Storyteller or change the way the story is told. Each Teaser team shall do this once, whenever they want to during the story. The Storyteller has to stay focused on his story... And include Teaser cards in it.

The winner is the one who scores the most points in all rounds of the game. The maximum possible score in each round is 12. A maximum of 6 points is obtained for technical difficulty of the story and a maximum of 6 points for artistic impression.
