Makizinataagewin: The Moccasin Game 2023

Various communities have their own versions of the moccasin game. A game historically played by men using pairs of moccasins. This game is not to replace its traditional counterpart, it is a teaching tool intended as an introduction to the game. We hope this version inspires you to seek out those in your community who carry the true game. Players are divided into a hunting team and a hiding team. Each team has 4 tiles with a moccasin on the front and a marble on the back. The hunting team needs to guess correctly on their third turn, which tile has a red marble on the back. The hiding team earns points by successfully hiding the red marble.
