Manic Mages 2022

In Manic Mages, 2-6 players each take command of 1 of 7 magic-wielding characters and, on their turn, moves them out from a group of 4 starting hexagonal tiles to reveal new tiles and quickly build a fantasy dungeon to explore and conquer.

Players also draw Spell Cards on their turn, using the damage and utility effects of these single-use cards to slay groups of various fantasy monsters on the revealed tiles. In doing so, they collect the monster tokens for victory points and claim new Loot Cards with weapons or relics that can empower their character with persistent effects.

As the game progresses, characters become increasingly potent until they are able to discover and slay the 4 Objective tiles shuffled into the bottom of the tile stack, each of which contains the most points and strongest group of monsters in the game. Slaying any objective immediately ends the game, and the player with the largest number of Victory Points wins.
