Overbaked! 2023

Overbaked! is a dynamic board game for 2 to 5 players that brings the excitement of pastry baking to life. Players step into the shoes of pastry chefs, navigating through strategic rounds that test their planning and risk-taking skills. The game's phases - Preparation, Baking, and Selling - each offer unique challenges and opportunities. In Preparation, players select from a mix of regular and 'Overbaked' (OB) pastry cards, setting the stage for their baking strategies.

The Baking phase introduces an element of suspense, as players flip their cards to find pastries, mindful of the risk posed by OB cards. Deciding whether to stop or risk continuing adds a thrilling push-your-luck aspect. Then, in the Selling phase, players engage in strategic decision-making to fulfill orders from the Order row or earn points by trading pastries, balancing their choices to maximize their score.

The game culminates after a predetermined number of rounds, where players tally their points primarily from order fulfillment. Overbaked! rewards the player with the highest score, celebrating the strategy and risks taken during the game.
