Secure The Loot 2023

Secure The Loot is a 2-8 player point based card game where each player aims to get 50 points on the play field to obtain a loot. There is a draw pile, discard pile, and character pile. At the beginning each player chooses one of four suits: Swords, wands, coins, and cups. Each of the four have different playstyles. They then draw a character and keep it hidden until they choose to use the characters special ability. They then draw 5 cards and draw one each turn after every first turn has been completed.

One can play a single point card and action card each turn unless bypassed by another ability. There are 5 action cards within the draw pile that can be played by everyone and there are suit specific action cards such as the ace of swords, that can only be played if one chose swords as their suit at the beginning of the game.

The character you have determines how many loot you need to win the game, 2 loot win characters have weaker abilities than 3 loot win characters. But once a loot is obtained one can choose to draw a new character and shuffle their old character back into the character pile.

Instead of there being one winner everyone continues to play for placement.
