Designer's Description

Update 04-17-24: Better Jelly donuts! Updated 3mf files.

Dollars to Donuts is a fun little filler game but the cardboard game tokens really bring it down. Here's a set of more realistic donuts to replace the “victory tokens”.

The game comes with a nice organizer for the original parts, but it won't hold the donuts, so here's also a new organizer.

Printing

Print one copy of each of the boxes. Settings don't matter much. I used a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.3mm layer height, 15% adaptive cubic infill. It's pretty obvious which parts go where. The StarterTileBox is meant to hold the four colored starter tiles and 5 dollar tiles for each player. Remaining dollar tiles go in the bag. In the Bag part, there's a compartment to store the blank spare game pieces.

The donuts are meant to be printed on a printer that can do multiple colors, such as an XL or MMU. You'll need 42 plain donuts, 28 chocolate glazed donuts, 18 sprinkle donuts, and 12 jelly-filled (chocolate and sprinkles use the same Frosted Donut model, just different color for the icing). Use the 3mf files and assign colors to the different parts. See Chocolate and Sprinkled Donuts.3mf Plain and Jelly Donuts.3mf arrangements for the whole set and suggested settings for the XL. Using Prusaslicer's Fuzzy Skin option for the donuts make them look and feel even better.

Or use the stl files and paint the donuts.
