This compact card box is a sturdy, 3D-printed replacement for the flimsy original cardboard packaging of Monopoly Deal by Mattel. Designed with portability in mind, its small footprint fits easily into any bag or pocket. The box closes with two snap latches that are easy to open and close with one hand, keeping the lid firmly shut during transport. The lid features the iconic Monopoly Deal logo, which can be printed in full color using a multimaterial setup (AMS). A dedicated slot inside the lid lets you store the original rulebook right alongside your cards, so everything stays together. This box works just as well as a generic travel case for other similarly sized card games.

Bed Adhesion Smooth or textured PEI plate is recommended. Adhesive is recommended to make it easier to remove the print from the plate.

Multimaterial Note : You can adjust the colors in the slicer, use only two colors if desired, or simply print everything in a single color. In the latter case, the logo will no longer be visible.
Assembly
No screws or hardware required - just a short piece of spare filament and a drop of glue.
- Print all parts - print the base, lid, latches, and hinge components flat on the build plate as described above.
- Insert filament axles - the hinges on the lid and the snap latches each use a short piece of filament as a pivot axle. Push a piece of filament through the corresponding hole, trim it flush to the correct length with flush cutters, and secure it with a tiny drop of super glue on each end to prevent it from sliding out.
Tip: Any 1.75 mm filament works as an axle - use a leftover scrap piece.
