Scythe organizers, V.2
Organizers for Scythe board game with expansion Invaders from Afar, version 2. Comfortable organizers decorated with theme reliefs and cutouts. All containers fit the game box very well and provide quick game set up.
The set contains: 7 Faction organizers, 2 types of Resources organizers, 4 types of Card trays with 2 types of card Separators, Bonus tile container and Power Dial tray.
1. **FACTION ORGANIZERS**: All components of one Faction is accommodated in the Faction organizer. It consists of 2 parts: Mech organizer and Wooden marker organizer. Mech organizer is larger. There are 4 slots for 4 Mechs, recess for Character miniature and for Action token. There is a shelf for a smaller Wooden marker organizer. It can be easily placed on the shelf or picked up thanks to intentions in the Mech organizer. All wooden markers (but the Action token) are accommodated here in thoroughly designed sections. All components are easy to take out thanks to indentations and optimally shaped recesses. The Mech organizer has guides for a sliding lid. This lid prevents components from falling out during the storage.
Mech organizers are tall enough to accommodate each Character miniature standing. Shelf is adjusted to Mech miniatures standing, so the Wooden marker organizer doesn't squish them. Green Mechs are the tallest. Their organizer is accordingly higher. It doesn't affect closing the game box as this particular container is accommodated above only 1 Player mat (other 6 Faction organizer are kept above two rows of 3 Players mats - you can check it on [photos of unpacking](https://www.instagram.com/p/C6Wdr0fovmM/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link)).
Each Faction has a dedicated organizer: Mech container has reliefs of the Character on one side and the lid has cutouts corresponding with a faction logo. Still, each faction organizer has the same size (only green Mech organizer is a bit taller).
Wooden marker organizer is the same for all 5 Factions from the base game. Factions from the expansion have their cardboard tokens. Additionally Togawa workers are significantly different. Thus there are dedicated Wooden marker organizers for Togawa and for Albion. Both have additional section for cardboard tokens. It still doesn't interfere with the Character miniature.
*Basically I made this version 2 of organizers for Scythe because I wasn't fully satisfied with my previous Faction organizers. I think this new version is much better. Character miniature has its own spot and doesn't lay around Mechs like before. This design is more clean and neat. I really like how lids turned out. Though I wish they would close more smoothly. Still it's good enough.*
2. **RESOURCES ORGANIZERS**: I divided all resources in 2 groups. In the first there are: Food, Metal, Wood and Oil plus coins of 1 and 3 value. These are resources the most used during the play. They are accommodated in a simple but comfortable Resources 1 organizer with 6 sections. Each section has rounded bottom to facilitate the draw. Coins of 5, 10, 20 and 50 value are kept in Resources 2 organizer. These coins are less used during the play, so they can be kept further aside. As usual, 2 of each resources organizers should be 3d printed, so they can be placed on 2 sides of the table. Thus all players can reach for components easily during the play.
*In this design I have focused on comfortable player's component organizers. Only these containers have lids. Other organizers are accommodated in the space left in the (base) game box. There was not enough room for these organizers with dedicated covers. However, they are organized tight enough to function as a board game insert. This should prevent components from falling out from their compartments.*
3. **CARD TRAYS**: There are 4 card trays in this set: Combat card tray, Factory&Help card tray, Encounter card tray and Objective&Solo card tray. They are adjusted to cards *without sleeves*. Combat card tray has sloped bottom and indentation to facilitate the draw during the play. Other trays have only indentation as there was not enough room in the game box for them to be taller. Still, they are less used during the play, so it's not a big problem imo. Factory cards are separated from Help cards (e.i.: Riverwalk and Quick start cards) by a Large Separator. It has decorative cutouts related to Factory cards. Objective cards are separated from Solo cards by a Medium Separator. Its cutouts are based on Objective cards. Encounter card tray accommodate Encounter cards and tokens. Rounded bottom in token section facilitates the draw.
4. **BONUS TILE CONTAINER**: And there are Bonus tiles... Their container fit the remaining space in the game box next to other well organized organizers. Nothing special, but it's comfortable and it fits.
5. **POWER DIAL TRAY**: I find these Dials very annoying - they are not symmetrical and have irregular shape. However I have managed to design quite pleasant tray for them. There are also recesses for 2 additional small tokens. This tray kind of works as a cover for Resources organizers.
