Rook Dice Tower

I kind of fell in love with the spiral chess set designed by BigBadBison and thought an oversized rook would make a cool decorative piece.

Looking at the general shape, I determined that with a few alterations the rook could also make a great dice tower while still maintaining its general profile.

So I created a cut-out in the top section to funnel the dice down, a sloped hole in the base to catch the dice, and a tunnel to deposit the dice immediately outside of the rook. I chose not to include an outside area to further contain the dice in order to preserve the rook's profile. I also added small arches where the twisted bars meet the upper section so that supports aren't necessary.
