Multiboard/Pegboard 24 Bottle (25mm) Paint Holder with label cutout - For Vallejo, Army Painter, etc.

This model is a remix of Bryan Duke's fantastic model, the only thing I've done is to add some (very hacky, very quick) cutouts to allow for easier reading of the paint bottle's labels while they're in the rack. This doesn't quite make them fully readable if all 24 slots are filled, but certainly helps, especially for paints like Army Painter Speedpaints that have the name/swatch front and center on the label. In my observations, the cutout does not seem to make the bottles any less secure than before.

THE MODIFICATIONS MAKE THE HOLDER HAVE SOME POINTY BITS! BE CAREFUL NOT TO POKE YOUR FINGERS! :)

This is a super, super hacky version that I made my simply opening the original stl in Microsoft 3D Builder, positioning some hexagons on the front of each slot, and subtracting it from the original model. I'd like to do this “properly”, but at the moment I don't have access to a step file or other original design file, and the CAD programs that I tried to use to convert the STL into another (Autodesk Inventor/Fusion360) format didn't quite work. If you're unhappy with the jank, I'd happily be told how to do it correctly (without remodeling the whole thing from scratch, anyway), but I've also included the Microsoft 3D Builder 3mf files for you to modify the placement/geometry of the cutouts if you'd like.

If I can get access to the original CAD files/a STEP file, or otherwise figure out how to convert things from an STL nicely, i'd happily update this to be a bit less janky. For now, it works for what I wanted, so I figured I'd share anyway.

Printed on a Bambulab X1C in CookieCad Dark Magic & Witchcraft PLA, with 3 walls and randomized seam locations for strength, 15% Rectilinear infill at 0.2mm layer height. Print time was 3h52m with these settings.
