Tea Garden Board Game - Dual-Color Tea Leaves

2-color tea leaves to replace the cardboard tokens from the board game Tea Garden by Tomas Holek and published by Albi (localized by Capstone Games). The attached 3mf file includes 40 tokens (as was included in the game) and changes color from green to brown halfway through the print, so that you have both sides needed for the board game. In the game, you ferment the tea leaves, turning them from the green side to the brown side to indicate the change. But I'm sure these leaves could have uses that go far beyond board gaming as well.

Some considerations utilized in this design:

• I uploaded the 3mf (and prefer to print them) using a 0.12mm layer height and 100% rectilinear infill (for a hefty feel), but change this to your desired level of detail/weight.
• Printing it green side down on a Bambu Smooth PEI plate gave the green side an interesting porous-look, while the brown side has a bit of a roughness to it by not using ironing (more of a consistent feel to a withering leaf as opposed to a fermented leaf but I was happy with the result). Play around with the orientation or plates to see what interesting effects you can bring out.
• The leaf veins were added as “cut-outs” from the model, which was a visual preferance I thought looked nice.
• The tokens are slightly larger, and indeed thicker, than their cardboard counterparts. I felt this was a good size for in-game use.

Printed on a Bambu X1C using the parameters mentioned. Filament shown in the photos is Anycubic PLA Spring Leaf and Creality Hyper PLA Brown.
