Arkham Horror LCG - Player's Kit

This little player's kit fits neatly into the “Return to…” boxes and holds everything you need for an enjoyable game in one place. Print one for each class, print only one or two for your favourite decks, print one and all the lids to swap them out, the choice is yours :)

Want to customize it further? Take the step files and load them into your favourite program and have a go! The imprints in the lids are 0.5mm deep, so trace your family crest or something and make it your very own!

Fits:

• 4 Ammo-Tokens (each counts from 1 to 6)

• at least 12 Spell Tokens - stored upright

• Sleeved Deck of Cards - with plenty of room for your potential upgraded cards

• 1 Mini - I personally use ones from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2469923 - just scaled down a bit - can also be used to store dice, HP/Sanity counters etc.

Needed:

• Filament of your choice (tested very well in PLA)

• 8 round magnets - size 6mm*2mm

• some glue

• Optional: 1 piece of fabric of approximately 12cm

• Optional: some double sided tape

Notes on Print-Settings:

• Layer-Height: 0.2mm

• a brim might help you a lot - I had some warping

• the imprints on the lids are 0.5mm deep - this might result in them getting their own “outside only brim” in OrcaSlicer - if you have any idea on how to avoid that - let me know

• the imprints might also be detected by the support tool, so please check if you need to block them manually, if your bridging is good enough

• the Spell-Tokens and the Ammo-Tokens can be printed without a brim

• the Ammo-Tokens do not need support for the numbers, do not be fooled by your slicer

Assembly:

• Print it out

• mark which way the magnets align (it is best to ensure that all of them point the same way, so you can put the lid upside and downside)

• glue in the magnets - ensure that nothing raises them, its gonna look bad

• take your piece of cloth or fabric, put the tape on one end and fasten it to the middle of the cutout for the cards - this will allow you to lift out the cards easily instead of having to shake them out of the case

• For the tokens:
• they can be press fitted into each other, if the side of the case that touched the print bed is down, it becomes a bit more snug, if it is up, it is a bit more movable

• if you want to glue them in: paint them beforehand to increase readability - learn from my mistakes and do not assemble hastily.

• Lid and Spacer brim add an additional 4.2mm to everything
