Update: Here is a 3D printed box to hold all of these cool parts!

Have been having alot of fun playing the ‘Plunder: A Pirates Life’ board game - only to find out there are a variety of ‘house rules’/mini-expansions, etc that really add alot to the game play. As a sailing ship game, it makes total sense that the wind would play a huge factor into movement (which is not in the original rules). You can find the ‘Catching the Wind’ mini-expansion here with much thanks to Edouard Le Sec for thought/creation!

You'll find that there are 3 different models necessary to (or not) to make all the pieces necessary (the reason for three models is the variety of printing options - as an example, I really dug the ‘fuzzy skin’ for the pieces…gives them a great tactile feel…BUT you don't want that for the dice nor other pieces) - you will find the other 2 by clicking on “Download STL/CAD Files” :

• Catching the Wind - Move Markers - Fuzzy.3mf - these are the various colored player pieces (the original version used colored stones)

• Catching the Wind - Misc Parts V2.3mf - this includes the ‘Heavy Wind Bonus’ pieces holder and colorized wind direction piece (which is turned to show the direction of the wind). Many thanks to @jhkorhonen for creating the sharable/remixable ship that doesn't need supports…really cool!

• Catching the Wind - The Wind Die - thinner and thicker.3mc - you will need to just print one of the two plates. While it does work/print - I just wasn't happy with the thinner version, but included as it has more detail and maybe you will like. I've chosen 80% infill as I wanted something with ‘some heft/weight’. You can adjust as you like it.

I hope these enhance your gaming as much as they've enhanced mine with this mini-expansion!

Boost Me Please consider Boost(ing) (its FREE and is really encouraging!). Thanks in advance :^D
