This will be a collection of animal shaped meeples for several boardgames. The inspiration came from the game Fabled Fruit, where each player choose an animal. But there are only 6 different animal to choose from and some of my boardgame fellows whished to have other animals. So the idea came up on making new ones, which then can be used for any game.In this thread I post the 3D files and a version for a laser cutter. I used the laser cutter module of the Snapmaker 3D with 1.6W. The *.svg files should be working with any vector program and laser cutting software. The meeples in the pictures are made of plywood. I used two 4 mm thick plates and glued them together. Afterwards, I applied a primer, then an acrylic stain and in the end they got a glossy varnish, for protection. The longest side of a meeple is around 30 mm.The parameters of the Snapmaker laser cutter 1.6W (4 mm plywood plate)power: 100%work speed: 120 mm/minmulti-pass: 5-6 turnspass depth: 0 mmMore animals will come.---- Update 26. May 2019I have added some animals and made an other version of the donkey.Cow, Goat, Donkey with long ears, Hippopotamus, Rooster, Dragon, Unicorn---- Update 11. Feb 2019I uploaded the next batch of animals and I ziped the svg-Files.After the animals got their color, I will make close-up photos for each of it.
This is an insert for the game Fabled Fruit by Friedemann Friese. It can support the Lime Expansion. There is tons of room to add even more stuff, like custom animal meeples, more expansions in the future, etc. For some extra printable animal meeples, try these (not my design, I just plan on adding them to our game!): There are spots to save your deck progress, but they only work once you've worked through about a quarter of the deck, otherwise you will need to spread the deck evenly throughout the four spots to hold it. This fits on a printer sized 220mm x 220 mm x 250 mm easily.
