Star Wars: Battle of Hoth - Terrain Tile Risers

Battle of Hoth is great, but I found it sometimes difficult to remember which types of terrain are ones that “block line of sight” so I put these together to help.

There are two heights of risers included:

Small Risers:

• Rocks

• Wreckage

• Buildings

• Seracs (see notes below)

Tall Risers:

• Ridges

The reason for the difference is that, while all 4 types block line of sight, the ridges are special in that units on top of them can have line of sight to other ridges.

Since these terrain tiles block line of sight and are impassible, I design some 3D ones which are available here .

• Print 11 of the small risers and 9 of the tall risers and you should have enough for any scenario in the book. (if also printing the 3D crystal tiles)
