I needed a way to effectively balance my camera set up on the OG Star Tracker. I got the idea from other Goto mounts. This mount uses the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Dec Bracket with home made counterweight.
My camera and lens together weighs 6lb which is more than what the base tracker should do without a counter balance. I also had a Newtonian telescope mounted at one point weighing just about 8lb.
