The Voynich Puzzle Insert/Organizer
Please support Chris Searcy by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
I made an insert for the board game The Voynich Puzzle. This is my first attempt at creating an insert, but I think it turned out pretty well. I leverage the existing insert as the pieces can all fit in the space and it saves the need to print filler blocks. Any feedback is appreciated!
I kept in mind how the game is setup and how components are used during play to both help with setup and actual play. I also like to store my games vertically, so I have included lids for items that need it. They're of course optional if storing horizontally. I haven't tested with sleeves, but I believe there should be enough room to support them.
Here's a breakdown of what and how much of each item you'll want to print:
• Books (1)
• Dirty Water Lid (1)
• Dirty Water (1)
• Helper Cards (1)
• Knowledge Case (1)
• Large Cards (1)
• Misc Tokens (1)
• Player Component Lid (4)
• Player Comopnent Tray (4)
• Player Knowledge (4)
• Puzzle Pieces Lid (4 recommended)
• Puzzle Pieces (4)
• Reminders Lid (1)
• Reminders (1)
Update 1:
• Modified the puzzle pieces stl to have raised lettering instead of inset. This allows the pieces to be removed easier from the tray when adding them to the board
My insert design for The Voynich Puzzle. Leverages the base insert to reduce the need for filler parts.
