Cathedral Game - Board and Cover
Please support Corey by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
I wanted to make a board and cover for the game. I wanted to be able to put on my game shelf and not worry about pieces going missing. The board is based on a 16x16mm scale for each square.
You can take any style of pieces on this site and scale them to fit this scale.
(1x1 pieces = 16x16mm, 2x3 = 32x48mm, etc.)
* However, you need to add -0.5mm horizontal expansion *
This will give the pieces more tolerance between them and fix the "C" shape piece.
Trust me, just scaling it down a 1mm will NOT work.
Depending on your printer, you may have to sand the inside corners of the lid to get a proper fit.
The lid needs to be printed upside down so you don't need supports.
Switching out colors where the walls start, is a cool and easy effect to do.
** to prevent pieces from moving around and to take advantage of the square pegs on the board ( they are 6.6x6.5x1.5mm) you should create a cavity at the center of each square that is 8x8x2mm. You can do this in Cura with custom supports and "modify settings for overlap with other models".

This general board and cover should work with any scaled 3D printed pieces. I really wanted a cover so that I could put it on my game shelf, not worry about missing pieces, and still have a unique style to it, rather than just a "box".
