Obsession is an amazingly thematic game. When I play a game like this, the first thing I think of is “how can I add to the the theme through upgrades?” It started with the Gentry Card holder, which is inspired by Alderly Hall. Then I decided to create other game components to further enhance the theme. I couldn’t stop until I had a complete set, including miniature servants’ quarters, ruins of country churches, a coin box and more! My primary goals were to 1) organize the game boards so the cards, meeples and coins are kept neatly during gameplay, and 2) to add to the theme and atmosphere of the game. This is for people who enjoy deluxifying one of their favorite games. Notes: ● The Large vs. Small option for the Theme and VP card holders is because the Obsession base game comes with very small Theme and VP cards, whereas the Upstairs/Downstairs expansion includes larger versions of those cards. Choose the Large option if you're using the Upstairs/Downstairs versions. ● These are 3D printed models using bio-friendly PLA ● Printed at a fine 0.04mm resolution, they take many hours to print ● Most models also have a dark wash and dry-brush applied to them by hand to increase their realism ● As they are manufactured to order, your particular models may look slightly different (slightly different vine colors, slightly different wash, dry-brushing or filament shade). This is expected, and guarantees that your set is unique. ● These are 3D printed models and upon close inspection, you'll see small layer lines. I don't have the advantage of commercial-grade mold-injected mass production, so just be aware that I produce these to the best quality I can, but they are somewhat home-made. ● These items don't fit into the base Obsession box. They don't take up a lot of room, but they'll need to be stored separately. They are not intended to be a game component box organizer, but thematic additions to the game. ● I guarantee 100% satisfaction. Gentry Card Holder Inspired by Alderly Hall, this finely detailed card holder keeps your gentry cards well organized. Features: ● Two-color, fine quality 3D print ● Trees on front add to the stateliness of the hall ● Banners remind you which prestige levels go on which side ● Backside has a similar look to the frontside (without trees or banners) ● Large enough to fit sleeved gentry cards from all expansions ● Fits exactly in the space provided on the game board Coin Holder This coin holder holds all of your £100 and £500 coins in separate compartments. Features: ● Made to look like a wooden box, this coin holder has a dark wash applied with copper highlights. ● Able to hold either metal or cardboard coins. ● Fits exactly in the space provided on the game board Round marker and first player token Features: ● The round marker replaces the plain white pawn with a white and copper pillar that has a dark wash and drybrushing effects applied, along with creeping rose vines. ● The first player token is a copper lantern that glows orange with a mini LED inside. Servants for Hire Holder Inspired by the Upstairs/Downstairs expansion art, this holder looks like a servants’ kitchen and work area Features: ● The sides and back are lined with pewter plates, cooking and other items ● Fun touches include a flower vase, an oriental rug, a barrel of apples and a “Servants for Hire” sign ● While it is fairly large, it will get crowded in a 5-player game...I recommend just piling the meeples onto the holder in that case rather than trying to stand them up in groups. For normal 2-3 player games, there is plenty of room. ● Fits exactly in the space provided on the game board Objective Card Holder Created to look like a partially ruined country church, this beautiful card holder will comfortably hold all of the sleeved objective cards. Features: ● Enhanced with dark wash and dry-brushing effects, along with creeping rose vines. Reserve Card Holders A service and a PR1 card holder are included to hold those tiles during gameplay. Features: ● Designed to look like a victorian service/storage shed with a stone foundation and a wooden top.
