I recently received my Clans of Caledonia metal coins including the £20 coins. I already own the Scythe metal coin set including the $2 & $50. But, I love the look and feel of these Clans of Caledonia coins. The coin values can be very easily identified due to the colors and are easily readable compared to the Scythe coins (at least IMHO).

Since these Clans of Caledonia metal coins are great and can be substituted for the cardboard coins in multiple board games, I decided to make a simple coin holder and lid. The lid closes the coin holder very well with some friction. I can revisit adding magnets to the holder and the lid later if needed, depending on the interest.

In the holder that I printed for my Scythe metal coins, making sure to have the lid in the correct orientation while closing definitely annoyed me. I wanted to eliminate that here. So I purposefully made the cut outs in the lid with slightly larger openings to ensure that it fits the holder in either orientation.

Let me know if I can help answer any questions and/or improve this model. Happy board gaming and 3D printing!
