Grandpa Beck's Games makes some great games, and this is one of our favorites.
The box for Antiquity Quest got crushed so I made a replacement box with a few thoughtful touches. Now I'm working through the rest of my collection.
The artwork is a reproduction. All brands, names, and everything else belong to Grandpa Beck's Games – I'm just a fan.
Apply a small amount of lubricant to the areas shown and slide the ring into place. Orient the pointer to the center notch.
Wipe away any excess.
Tip: Cooking oil, Vaseline, Chapstick, all make acceptable lubricants.
Place each gear shaft into the holder as shown.
Tip: The parts are interchangeable.
Make sure the gear ring is still in the center notch
Align the bar so that it aligns with the divider. Carefully slide the part fully into the tray. It will lack into place
Align the bar with the divider and press this one into place as well
At this point you should be able to rotate the bars and the pointer should snap into the each of the three positions.
Turn the base tray open side down on a firm surface. Slide the lid hinges into place and press until they snap into place
With the box still upside down on a firm surface, snap the latch into place.
Slide the small instruction keeper into the notch to the right of the latch.
