After trying a few models for Ticket to Ride* train storage, I decided to design my own. I wanted something that keeps the game organized and elevates the playing experience.

• These boxes fit snugly into the original North America Map Version insert (at least in my copy 🙂). The box dimensions are 72×95 mm in the bottom (77×100×48.5 mm with the lid). I do believe it fits in the European version as well but I would need someone to confirm it.

• The lid slides to securely close the box.

• The sliding lid splits into two parts, making it easy to organize and access cards during gameplay.

I’ve included two print profiles—the only difference is the lid handle:

• Normal handle: The handle works for both, lift the box from the insert and to split the halves. I recommend printing this version with supports.

• Small handle: Not ideal for lifting the box, but useful for separating the lid halves. This version usually prints fine without supports.

For perfectionists: print at 0.08 mm and sand the handle interior to remove layer lines.

The boxes in the pictures use the normal handle and were printed at 0.20 mm layer height. I left them unsanded so you can see exactly how they look fresh off the printer (Bambu Lab A1 in this case).

Boost Me I hope these accessories enhance your Ticket to Ride sessions! If they do, consider boosting me—I’ve gone through more filament perfecting this design than I’d like to admit 😅
