CHECK YOUR SLICER TO MAKE SURE THE BRIDGES PRINT AS BRIDGES AND NOT OVERHANGS OR THE LIDS WILL FAIL

There is a problem with Bambu Studio where it slices bridged lines as overhangs, if this happens it will likely cause the lines behind the text on the box lids to fail. I was able to slice these files correctly in OrcaSlicer, using the setting “Bridged Counterbore Holes: Partially Bridged”

Update: Fixed an issue with the SCAD rendering which caused the hexagons on some lids to not quite connect to the walls

This is a full box insert for Space Alert and it's expansion the New Frontier. I included lids for all components because I often keep boxes on their sides.

This was building using SCAD and the Board Game Insert Toolkit version 3.

Print 1 of everything except the Chits insert which you will need 3 of.

If you don't have the expansion you will still want to print everything except you can skip the Badges container if desired. Without the expansion, you will just have one empty action cards slot, no badges, and you will only utilize 1 of the 3 inserts (but you will still want to print all 3, because that spaces them out so the lid keeps pressure on the top chits and keeps them in place!). Or if you don't care about keeping the chits organized, you can just print none of the inserts and only use the large container.

The tracks box is not strictly necessary, but it keeps everything spaced out correctly and stops the boards from moving around. These are MORE THAN 256mm long, so you will have to print them diagonally on a 256mm bed, and they will not fit on an A1 mini at all.

Organize the boxes as shown, placing the smaller player boards on top of the threat card containers, and the larger ones on top.

I have measured my Space Alert box at 224mm x 314mm interior box bottom dimensions and designed for an exact fit with ~1mm of room. If your box is a different size, or your printer is sloppy, it might not fit!

The containers are not sized for Sleeves, I don’t have any so I can’t say if they would fit or not.

Settings:

Mostly default settings were used, 15% gyroid, no brims, with Arachne walls. You can probably use any normal settings.

Bridged Counterbore Holes: Partially Bridged (only available in OrcaSlicer), check your bridges!
