Mice and Mystics Organizer Insert
Please support essenstar designs by Liking/Boosting their Print on MakerWorld.
Board game insert for Mice and Mystics! This comprehensive insert supports sleeved or unsleeved cards, features character trays that double as player dashboards, and ready-to-play token trays that keep most components sorted. Lids ensure that nothing is spilled with vertical storage.
Features:
• Fits sleeved or unsleeved cards
• Character trays for each hero keep their inventory and skills sorted. During play, flip them over to use them as player dashboards
• Hero and monster minis separated for easy setup and teardown
• All five card types stay separated (search, standard encounter, hard encounter, mouse ability, initiative)
• Most cardboard tokens have their own spot, to minimize searching for specific pieces during play
• All trays are designed to support both storage and play
• Lids support vertical storage
• Only 4mm of lid lift!
Instructions:
• Print 6x of the character tray
• Place the large hero reference cards each in their own tray
• Place the hero initiative card in their respective heros' trays
• Place each hero's items, inventory, and abilities in their respective trays
• During play, take the contents out, flip the tray over, and slide the various cards in the way that best suits your preference
• Print 2x of the character lids
• During storage, stack 3 character trays with 1 lid. You should have 2 stacks total.
• Print 1x of the card tray
• Place the search cards in the largest section
• Place the standard encounter cards in one of the two remaining "large card" sections
• Place the hard encounter cards in the last "large card" section
• Place the mouse ability cards in the middle "small card" section
• Place the initiative cards in the last "small card" section
• During storage, store this card tray on its wide side
• Print 1x large token tray
• Reference the photo in this post to see where each cardboard token group fits
• Print 1x large token lid
• Print 2x small token trays
• Place the hearts, dice, and cheese tokens in separate bins. There is an extra bin, so you may split contents as you wish
• Print 1x small token lid
• During storage, stack the 2 small token trays with the small token lid
• Print 1x minis tray
• Reference the photo in this post for a better visual of where each mini goes
• Place the centipede mini in the widest, deepest spot
• Place the spider minis in the widest, middle spot

• Place the six mouse hero minis in the smaller set of 6 spots
• Place the six rat warrior minis in the larger set of 6 spots
• Print 1x minis lid
• Print 1x placeholder
• This has no functional use, other than to take up space. This has the exact same dimensions as the stack of 3 character trays + lid, so you can easily add more characters from the expansions.
• Place all eight large cardboard tiles and both storyboard tiles on top of the trays and lids
• Place the rulebook and storybook on top of the cardboard tiles
