Me and my friends have been avidly playing Arkham Horror: the living cardgame ever since the corona crisis. Considering how many hours of great fun we've had, we don't skimp on accessoires, some of which we make ourselves.

On the models

I designed these magnetic tokens that neatly stack together , which is incredibly handy. They can be used as resources, ammo, supply, and many other things! They are stylized after for each investigator class:

• Money for Rogues using 6*1mm disk magnets

• Crystals for Mystics using 8*3*2mm cuboid magnets

• Crates for Survivors 4mm disk magnets

• Bullets for Guardians using 8*3*2mm cuboid magnets

• Books for Seekers using 6*1mm disk magnets

There are 10 different book models, but only their icons differ and they are functionally identical.

After adding the magnet to the token, you can press in the accompanying insert that will lock into place. After a few years of extensive use, I've only had a few pop out, but you can add some glue or resin to permanently attach them.

How I made the digital models

I designed it in TinkerCAD. Yes, I'm an amateur.

How I made the physical models

These models are specifically designed with the detail and precision of SLA in mind. I printed the models (and sufficient inserts) at a 45° angle on my Mars 2 Pro, and thoroughly washed it, but did not cure it yet! I then carefully embedded the magnets and inserts using gloves. I then extensively UV cured the models, which is important considering how you will be manually handling these tokens a lot!
