After a user request , I decided to re-adapt my “Sigma” Deck Box (originally sized for TCG cards) for standard playing cards.

Cards

This deck box fits 52 (but up to 54 or 56 if you squeeze them a bit) standard 88 mm x 63 mm playing cards. This is the default format for poker cards.

Printing instructions

Choose a size, print the “base” plate, then print the “lid” plate. Done!

• Suggested plate. The texture PEI plate gives top and bottom a nice finish.

• Suggested layer height. 0.16mm or lower to maximise the impact of curves.

Features

You'll notice some features on the inside of this deck box:

Vertical grooves on the side help you slide in the top correctly and prevent it from moving side-ways (given the ample space of the sigma curve).

A tiny flexible knob helps the lid snap in place once you close it and should prevent accidental opening. The clearance here is pretty tight and I like it this way - but if people find it to be too tight, I can release another version with a slightly relaxed clearance.

Finally, a chamfer on the lid should help guide your card sleeves without touching them.
