Lost Cities Boardgame Insert & Organizer

Provides convenient storage bins for all of the games tokens, cards, and meeples to make setup and cleanup super fast.

The box for this game is enormous with respect to the volume taken up by the components. I wanted the organizer inserts to sit up close to the lid so that the game board on top will keep the components from jumping bins. That means this insert will likely take up most of an entire spool of filament. Alas, you can see in the pictures how mine ended up being 3 different colors.

Just to make this insert even more ridiculous…because the original box is so huge, I decided there would be enough room to add a tray to keep the victory tokens organized by value. So I added one of those and gave it handles so it can be simply lifted out to begin playing immediately. Then I realized that the handles mean the tokens could spill if the box was shaken or placed on its side, so then I had to add another model, a ‘Spacer’ to put on top of the tray to occupy the space above it when the lid is closed.

I printed mine with 10% infill. Add supports on the build plate to support the female puzzle piece connector slots. Any nozzle size should be just fine; I used a 0.8 mm nozzle and 0.4 mm layer height for speed, which may have increased filament usage.

The “Victory Token storage” and the ”spacer" are optional but nice to have. They allow you to place the tray right on the table and serve tokens directly from it, all nice and organized by value.
