Harmonies INSERT - cube tray hex lids
Please support HalidonAus by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
I was keen to prevent the animal and spirit cubes rolling around, so I created some lids for CaVe's Harmonies INSERT cube trays.
I've used the same technique as the board insert - no bottom or top layer with a hex sparse infill - to maintain consistency. The model takes approx 21 minutes and uses around 13g of filament.
I printed on the Elegoo Centauri Carbon using the 0.2mm standard 0.4 nozzle settings as a start in ORCA / Elegoo Slicer. Below are the specific changes I made:
Global
• Layer Height: 0.25mm
• Infill: 30%
• Wall Loops: 2
• No supports
Base plate:
• Wall loops: 8
• Top shell layers: 0
• Bottom shell layers: 0
• Sparse infill density: 10%
• Sparse infill pattern Honeycomb
IMPORTANT - this file is only for the two cube tray lids. You will need CaVe's Harmonies INSERT model for the rest.
Big shout out to CaVe for the awesome insert and really cool mesh base technique 😊
