Mr. President 2e insert

This is an insert for the 2nd edition of Mr. President by GMT games. There are a ton of chits and tokens in this game, with a complex setup process that can take upwards of 1-2h just to get everything in place. With these organized trays I hope to get you to the table making policy decisions far more quickly!

The main feature is 4 chit trays, organized by type and placed strategically around the game boards. They are grouped to be close to their associated areas, with an additional bill tray to place directly onto the Unused Bills box. A lovely suggestion by js500 resulted in sliding the trays into a cabinet, and it looked so close to the American flag that I couldn't resist putting my printers to work and recreating it while stored in the cabinet. For those who desire a plain cabinet, “no flag” files have been included in both print profiles and individual files.
The game boards and Turn Sequence book go on top of the trays, please align the spiral side with the grooves of the “box trays” so no imprints are left on the boards.
Cards are organized into boxes as [Events] [Events] [Rest], but you can divide as desired. There is a small opening on the back to show which card group is present.
Larger chit boxes are designed so they can be mixed up by simply shaking with the top covered, the smaller wells to be dumped into your palm and shaken/mixed as needed in your hand.
In general, the trays sit around my board as follows:
Tray 1 - NW corner (or close to the Wars board)
Tray 2 - SW corner (close to conflict tracks)
Tray 3 - SE corner (close to world map)
Tray 4 - SE corner (close to world map)
Tray 5 - SW corner (within reach)
Chit towers - N side of board (occasional use)
Tension / Crisis - on the board, personal preference)
From box to table it took me 9 minutes to get all the chits in place. You'll need additional time for card/event decks and track/board adjustments, but the setup time should be significantly improved with these trays.

This is a 3d printed insert for Mr. President 2e. It's an incredible game with a massive front-end setup time, and an almost-equally as long clean up time. This insert helps bring that time down by keeping similar chits together, organizing them around the board in a meaningful way, and allowing you to place them around the board without needing to separate unless absolutely necessary.
