Cartagena, Spain - 3D Miniature
# **3D printable topographic miniature of Cartagena - 🇪🇸 Spain**
Capture the beauty of **Cartagena**'s city landscape with this topographic miniature!
This 3D model represents the geographic area around the geo coordinates [37.605, -0.984 (LatLng)](https://www.google.com/maps/place/37.6047587031499,-0.9841636031494141).
It is scaled down from a geographic area of around **2.390 km x 2.380 km** to a 3D printable miniature in the dimensions of **170.5 mm x 170.5 mm**. The scale from the geographic area (5.689 sq km) to the miniature is approximately **~14019:1**.
The terrain is modeled from geographic data for realistic terrain representation. Ideal for educational purposes, architectural visualization, or as a decorative piece.

* 190.70 x 190.70 x 13.85 mm, text engraving "Cartagena", with hanging holes
* 190.70 x 190.70 x 13.35 mm, no text engraving, with hanging holes
* 178.70 x 178.70 x 13.35 mm, no text engraving, with hanging holes (fits A1 mini bed size)
* **STL files** for the miniature and all frame variants
* **Generic 3MF** containing all STLs for easy import into any slicer
* **Bambu Studio 3MF** with optimized print profiles for A, P, X, and H-Series printers (pre-colorized)
* **Snapmaker Orca 3MF** with optimized print profiles for the Snapmaker U1 (pre-colorized)
* The included 3MF files contain two highly specialized print profiles: "miniature-classic" and "miniature-arachne". For optimal results, use "miniature-arachne" (note: expect long slicing times).
* Due to the nature of geographic terrain data, models may contain non-manifold geometry or areas that require support material. This cannot be avoided. Our included print profiles handle these cases well.
* For printers from other manufacturers or other slicers, check our [Miniature Printing Guide](https://framescapr.hgross.eu/miniature-printing-guide/) for recommended settings (especially support settings).
* Gently put the miniature into the frame. Depending on your printer's calibration, that should be enough to hold the miniature.
* If in doubt, use some super glue. For PLA, I use thick cyanoacrylate glue. I experienced best results with glue that contains Ethyl-2-cyanacrylat.
* Hanging Holes: My frames always have a hole pattern divisible by 10 mm - for this miniature's size the "Hanging Hole Distance" results in **60 mm** between holes.
